I've paid for a service I never wanted and they are flat out refusing to refund me the full amount. Don't be sucked in by the "deal" of VIP members. I used to work in retail and enjoyed helping people who had made a mistake with a purchase or bought the wrong item or wanted a refund for a product they didn't want. This company, its concept and the customer service is by far the worst I have experienced. Now its just a place we go online to be given poor excuses for reasons as to why we can't be helped. I remember when customer service was all about the customer. Their customer service is awful and I feel the concept in general, is meant to dupe and confuse customers certainly at the initial stage. Contacted them today on their live chat and was basically told I couldn't get a refund and they could only give me a month refund as a gesture. I understand their concept but I have 6 credits I never wanted and a total charge of £294 added to my credit card. I thankfully noticed it yesterday and saw that I had 6 of their "member credits". September, October, November, December and Januray pass with a £49 charge for each month. I contacted them and they told me that they could only refund me one month (even though they took 2 payments) and that the account had been cancelled. July payment didn't notice it off the credit card then in August I clocked it. I had absolutely no idea that I would be signing up for £49 to be taken from my account every month. I thought this was a way of receiving a good discount on my first order. I bought items in June 2021, by joining the VIP club. We'll redeem the points we have toward whatever we can find in your current offerings and wave a sad goodbye.VIP is a C-O-N. Knowing now that $10 is the value that Fabletics puts on us as a customer, we can't see any further reason to continue the relationship. I escalated my concerns to a supervisor with your customer support team, and was offered $10 as incentive to not cancel my account. There being no full-price outfits of interest, we were happy to take advantage of sale items, only to discover that for these our reward points can't be used, and that our real-dollar credit is quietly devalued down to the price of the sale item it's applied to. We love the quality of the Fabletics line, and although the more recent designs have been less to our tastes we were willing to keep our account and wait for future collections, but missed a "skip" and so were billed the $49.95 which is our fault, so that's fine. We've been a loyal Fabletics family for many, many years spending tens of thousands of dollars with you, and this neutered version of what used to be customer loyalty appreciation has become more trouble and frustration than it's worth. The way that Fabletics applies store credits THAT I PAID FOR IN FULL on sale items by showing a $49.95 benefit to the total while in fact using that entire amount of cash to buy a sale item of lesser value is approaching fraudulent. Store credits and "rewards" get quietly short-changed on sale items.
